I bought a couple of these type of wallets before settling on this. There are some cheaper knock-offs that mimic this, but made in China, and perhaps we cannot be too sure as to what type of metal or what type of (toxic?) impurities might be found in the cheaper off-brand China-made version of these wallets. I am suspicious that the China brands have so many reviews and all so positive. This Ögon Designs has so few reviews and so thoughtful (even critical). Is this because of the price point? Do cheaper wallets of this type really attract thousands of glowing positive reviews that are all legitimate customers? It seems odd to me. I’m concerned that Amazon is not scrutinizing the identity of some of these reviewers for the cheaper China-made knock offs. I bought 1 cheap “stainless steel” advertised version of this and it felt like tin yet it had thousands of positive reviews. I agree that with the cheaper versions you have no assurance of what types of materials are used in the manufacture. I believe paying for a branded version is the best way to go for a piece of metal that will sit in your front pants pocket all day long. Will the cards fall out if you hold the open wallet upside down or shake your hands wildly about? Yes but that is obvious if you look at the pictures. Are these negative reviews legitimate from anonymous ‘Amazon customer’? Hmmm, I wonder. If you want this type of wallet then my vote goes here to this company Ögon Designs - pay a little bit more for branded quality. Admittedly I have only owned this for a few weeks now but so far so good.
