When i opened the box i was shocked with the appearance of the cable that is very thin and very lightweight. The plugs are small. I was not impressed with the build quality at all. But let's go to the sound that this Audioquest Sydney cable produced. The sound is very thin and bright. It sounds smaller, less full than my previous cable which costs 40 euros!!!!!! I did not bother with burning -in more than 24 hours. It's the second Audioquest cable that i try and it's going to be the last!!!!!

Somehow little sound improvement , for me bigger enough compared to 50 CAD SKW cable 6 × the price of AudioQuest. If you plan to buy 100 CAD or more cable, this one could be a better option maybe I amright or wrong, I didn't have a chance to compare . In general I am happy with the sound quality.

I read a review already on here saying that this cable cured a hum from their turntable. And similar to them I had Audioquest's Big Sur fitted on mine and I was getting a hum, which was exaggerated on my Bose soundbar that I have tided in within my set-up. Marantz intergraded amp and CD player, Teac TN-4D-SE turntable, pair of Yamaha speakers and Subwoofer. Then on the pre out I also have it connected to my Bose soundbar and Bose companion. Straight away after fitting this Audioquest Sydney cable absolute quiet and nothing from Bose Soundbar which was terrible before. If you have turntable hum then I fully recommend trying this cable first 100%. 01/10/24 update bought another to upgrade my connection between my CD player and amp and this connection is fantastic. Cleaner sound with more details I am now hearing.
