I'm a former competitive swimmer and now my son has been swimming long enough to start wanting to get serious about it as well. I tried these out first to see myself and I like them better than my 25 yr old ones. Of course its because tech has come along since I got mine but it's amazing how much just being able to make them a hair thinner and slightly different material changes things. I relinquished them to my son, adjusted them to his larger hands easily, and away he went. He obviously has nothing to compare it to but he has no complaints and likes that they're green and not black like most of the kids on his team so it's easier to keep track of his. Having R and L on them makes it easier to figure out which hand they go on as well.
