I could see straight away that they were all well-made with nice straight shafts.The handles are sandalwood so they should be quite durable, the nib gripper is plastic but holds nibs quite securely, I have a variety of old type nibs including italic and post office types which all stay in place well while in use.The handles have a waisted section which makes them quite comfortable to hold although I like to put a sleeve cut from thin wall silicone tube to give a better grip when using a pen for an extended period.I have found the Pssopp pen nib holders to be very good and they are good value. At just over eleven pounds for ten I can leave different nibs permanently installed in a handle cutting down on cleaning everything when I want to use another nib.
