That is why this type of eraser is preferred by most artists. It lifts the color, exactly were you want the color lifted, without damaging the paper or the sketch. It also allows you to simply lighten the color, remove it completely, correct mistakes, or remove small sections of pencil work.I am happy with these, they are very good quality putty/gum erasers. Plus you get 10 at a good price, which makes them a good bargain as well.

These Grey Kneadable Erasers for Artists offer good value for a pack of 10 priced at £7.49 at the time of this review = 75p each.I use kneadable erasers regularly, so compare this with my usual Faber Castell one.These feel more like Blu Tack at first. As they are slightly stiffer they are easier to mould and maintain points etc. I tested them on HB pencil and a Polychromos coloured pencils. In my dot, thin line and broad dabbing, I found very little difference in the erasers. Bearing in mind cost effectiveness for many starting out on their art adventure, at 75p each, these compare favourably with the £1.75 you need to pay minimum for other branded ones. No box so you need a plastic container to keep them in to keep them from drying out and getting dusty dirty.
