So, be honest. If you're reading reviews for oscilloscopes, "It does oscilloscope stuff" probably doesn't inspire confidence that the individual in question has ever even SEEN an oscilloscope, let alone know how to use one...right? Well, rest assured, I'm actually quite capable.So, I did a basic functionality test with this using my handheld's function generator. I selected a sine wave output of 150Hz and .5v amplitude. It actually took me a minute or two fumbling with the menus to get the data I wanted displayed on the screen, but eventually figured out how to get the frequency displayed, which was spot on to my output signal. I had no problem getting a clean signal with the included probes, which are 1x/10x attenuation selectable.I love that it does SA/FFT, and frankly the screen on this thing is GLORIOUS. The scope I learned on had a green fluorescent display...if I'm dating myself. I've had a few scopes since then, but none with a display this large, colorful, or easy to read.If I had to wish at it? I wish it came with a wall-mount. I'd love to be able to just stick this on the wall above my workbench and call it a day. But...I'll have to find space for it somewhere. At least it's not a suitcase like my first scope. But it does have some slick little fold-out feet, which is nice. So it should sit nicely on top of my workbench somewhere. If only I could wall-mount it...*dreamy sigh*.Anyway, aside from my "wall mounting woes", which I certainly didn't take a star off for, lol, this is a fantastically capable 2-trace 100mhz little workhorse with all KINDS of features, like spectral analysis, 1x/10x probes, and a screen that's just to die for. And it uses next to nothing for power. I don't care if you're looking for your first scope or your 10th, this is a nice little unit for the money. Frankly, I'm astounded at the feature set and build quality you get here for less than $200. 5 stars all the way.

Für meine Elektronik-Basteleien habe ich nach einem preisgünstigen und trotzdem zuverlässigen Oszilloskop gesucht. Da meine Ausbildung (an analoge Röhren-Oszilloskopen) daran schon Jahrzehnte zurückliegt, wollte ich außerdem mein Wissen wieder auffrischenDie Lieferung erfolgte äußerst schnell (schon am nächsten Werktag). Die Ware war gut verpackt und so ging es gleich los mit der Überprüfung des Inhalts. Neben dem Oszi waren die beiden Tastköpfe samt Schrauber für die Einstellung der Kapazität vorhanden. Diverse Handbücher auf Englisch, aber auch ein USB-Stick mit der DSO-Software und der Treiber für die Anbindung an einen PC sowie einem deutschen Handbuch im pdf-Format waren dabei..Das Gerät hat auf Anhieb einwandfrei funktioniert. Tastköpfe kalibriert und los ging es mit der ersten Schaltung, einem Funktionsgenerator. Rechteck, Dreieck und Sinus-Erkennung kein Problem.Was allerdings nicht funktionierte, war die Anbindung an den PC. Der Treiber wurde nicht erkannt (System Windows 11, 64bit). Der Verkäufer war aber sehr bemüht, eine Lösung des Problems zu liefern. Jetzt wird erst ein Techniker eingeschaltet, der sich des Problems annehmen soll.Sollte da eine Lösung gefunden werden, gibt es nachträglich die volle Sternzahl für das Gerät.Der Kundenservice konnte das Problem lösen und die Lösung war eigentlich einfach. Gewusst wie. Die Geduld des Service mit mir ist ein Extra-Stern wert und deshalb gebe ich 5 Sterne und kann den Verkäufer und das Produkt nur empfehlen!

Wirklich gut nutzbares Gerät. Ich hatte vorher nur mit Analog Oszis zu tun und war sehr erfreut über die Möglichkeiten. Ein invertiertes nicht normgerechtes UART Signal 500 kBit liess sich so ganz flott analysieren. Ein befreundeter E-Technik Profi hat mir versichert, dass dieses Ding sein Geld wert ist. Kleiner Tipp noch: auch etwas bessere Geräte z.B. von Rigol nutzen wohl auch keine wesentlich besseren Chips für diesen Zweck. Es kommt bei der Ergonomie halt auch sehr auf die Software an. Datenspeicherung auf USB habe ich noch nicht getestet.

So a few things to be aware of:The inputs are NOT isolated, so you have t be pretty careful about what you actually measure.There is no "free run" trigger mode. If there is no edge, you get no trace. That also make it behave a bit oddly with audio; if it happens to be looking for a trigger when there's a zero crossing, it stalls out until the next time it's looking for a trigger. Which is NOT immediately.It doesn't remember some settings when turned off and on. For instance, the display brightness resets on power-up.Three stars as a low-end scope; plus one more, because, good grief, the low price. :)
