I wasn't expecting a great deal. I thought the product would be flimsy and cheap. In fact it is sturdy and well made. The switch feels solid. It's unobtrusive and does what it says. It simply allows two PCs/laptops to share one internet point, but not at the same time. I didn't want to have to keep unplugging an Ethernet lead from my access point and plugging in another one each time I used a different PC. Now I simply leave both Ethernet leads (one for each PC) plugged into the splitter and move the switch to whichever PC I want to access the internet from. Note that this product is designed to switch between two devices; it doesn't allow two devices to connect to the internet at the same time.

To get the ethernet signal to both my PC and Xbox I need a switching box so that I get maximum mbs to each as I choose. Tested and with the short CAT7 cable I bought form Amazon it provides 150mbs to each depending on which is switched to get the signal, obviously only one devise can get the broadband at a time, which is what I wanted.
