I recently tried out the JRJRN 12 Colours Cotton Yarn for a crochet project, and overall, it has been a decent experience. The set comes with 12 different vibrant colours, which were perfect for my crochet flower centers, including the much-needed yellow and orange shades.Pros:1. Variety of Colours: The 12 different colours are lovely and offer a great range for various projects, whether you're making flowers, toys, or small accessories. The colours are bright and visually appealing, which I really appreciated for my project.2. Soft and Comfortable: The yarn is relatively soft and comfortable to work with, making it beginner-friendly. It's gentle on the hands, which is great if you're working on projects for extended periods.3. Good for Small Projects: The amount of yarn in the set (17 meters per colour) is suitable for smaller crochet projects, like flower centers, small toys, or decorative pieces. It should last through a few smaller projects without running out.4. Value for Money: Considering the price for 12 colours, the set offers good value, especially if you're just starting out with crochet.Cons:1. Tangles Easily: One of the more frustrating aspects of this yarn is that it tends to knot up during use. I found that the yarn could become tangled quite easily, which can be tricky to untangle, especially in the middle of a project. It’s not a deal-breaker but can slow you down.2. Quality Not 100%: While the yarn is decent, it’s not the highest quality I've worked with. It can feel a little less smooth than some other cotton yarns, and at times, the fibers seem to separate a bit, which makes working with it a tad more difficult than expected.3. Limited Length for Larger Projects: While the length is fine for small projects, if you're planning to work on larger items like blankets or garments, you might run out of yarn quickly and need to purchase more. Conclusion: Overall, this JRJRN yarn is a solid choice for beginners or for those looking to create smaller crochet or knitting projects. The colours are vibrant and versatile, and it's soft and comfortable to work with. However, the tangling issue is a bit of a downside, and the quality might not meet the standards of more advanced crocheters. If you’re just starting out or working on smaller, more manageable projects, this yarn is a good, affordable option to try.
