Have always used safety pins, but have a new team top which I didn't want holes in.Was a little sceptical that the magnets wouldn't hold. I was so wrong, they held very well, once in place the number and magnets didn't move at all!It was a warm day so sweating more threw lots of water over me but still held.They are strong magnets.

Put these to the test for the Brooklyn Half yesterday and they didn’t disappoint. Bib stayed in place for the whole duration of the race. These magnets are indeed very strong, but keep in mind that the hold strength can vary a little depending on the thickness of the material that they are affixed to. I had these on a Nike running tank top (thinner fabric), so there were no issues at all. I also had a concern that there might be some slight irritation from constant rubbing during the race, but that ended up being nonexistent.Price was a little steep at $13.00; would have been happier with them at around $8.00 - $10.00, but I’d still recommend these over poking holes in your garb with safety pins any day.

Actually really good, I am surprised by that. My wife and I had a half marathon to run and I thought why not try these out. Well it turns out that they are excellent. I was paranoid that they might fall off so I one side of my race bib with safety pins and the other side with these magnets. At no point during the run did they fall off or even shift. The magnets are strong and once you set them they are good to go. My wife didn't have the same compunction as I did and used only the magnets. They stayed on the whole race. The race was windy, rainy, and just flat out terrible and these things worked! They appear to be made in a way that will last as long as you don't try smashing them. I am happy to forgo pins in the future as these are just easier to use and well designed. The colors are nice too. I really liked the options of wearing a bright green. And for the price I mean you can't really beat them. Recommended.
