I bought this to replace the old battery in my jbl charge 4 (battery would charge slow) after installing new battery, it does not take a charge at all so this has not worked for me.

I tried this battery on my JBL Charge 4 and the speaker turned off after 2 sec. I now have tried two different battery packs from Amazon but they have the same problem. The solution for me was to disassemble the original battery pack and replacing the cells only (keeping the circuit board in the pack) with 3 18650 cells, solder it together and reassembly the pack. Now it works again. It seems like the Charge 4 does only accept the original circuit board in the battery pack.
