Sous 6VDC, ce dispositif consomme 1,6A, et je n'ai donc aucune idée de ce qui correspond aux 300MA annoncés dans la description.

Rather disappointed with this. Beware of the spec, it's potentially misleading, but this could be due partly to the way solenoids are described generally.First off, I measured the actual current when it's working at full strength, and it's 900mA not 300mA. Not really an issue as I have plenty of power available, but surprisingly far out from a spec POV.Then, I decided to see how much weight it could lift, because the very slightest lateral force (or finger pressure against the central bar) prevents any active movement. I was stunned when I found it could only lift a maximum of 14g! That's about 0.14N, not 5N. Yes it can resist a pull/push of very nearly half a kilo (5N) when its bar has been allowed to reach the fully-on position without any loading applied, but I can't even think of an application for that. What I wanted was a solenoid that would pull (or push) about 5N, but this one is a very long way from achieving that. In the end I dug a huge central locking solenoid out of a scrapped car to get the power I actually needed for my project. This little solenoid is fun to have, and very cute, and didn't cost much so I'm keeping it for amusement, but don't expect it to do much more than flick a table tennis ball across a table :o) If it only drew 300mA I reckon it wouldn't even have enough power to overcome its own spring!!!

Doesn't work even when connected straight to a 9volt battery
