Very nice Harris style bipod. Very secure and the tilt is smooth. Legs extend and lock with precision. Why pay more?

I bought this cheap "no-name" China-knockoff bipod, along with a Caldwell XLA (AKA: China-knockoff Harris), and keeping this no-name bipod as it's constructed better than the Caldwell.No-Name better:- No-name has 1 full rubber pad across the entire base that contacts the sling mount well, Caldwell has 2- rubber contact pads that BARELY contact the sling mount (could squish out over time)- No-name has a thick split ring, Caldwell has thin cheap split ring holding the tension lever, could easily snag on something and rip off- No-name has a nice tilt lock aluminum lever ($10 if purchased separate!), Caldwell has little "hard to tighten/loosen" tilt lock knurled nut- No-name has 4 leg indents (more adjustment), Caldwell has 3 leg indents,- No-name doesn't have a fugly logo plastered on the side- Cost $30 (with $10 lock lever included), Caldwell $36 without tilt lock leverCaldwell Better:- Caldwell weighs 11.0oz, no-name weights 13.6oz (with 1oz tilt lock level) Caldwell 1.6oz lighter after adding $10 lock lever.- Caldwell has all metal tension screw with smaller head, no-name has plastic/metal screw with larger head that could strip or break- Caldwell springs attach to metal holes, no-name has 2 studs for spring attachment (could break easier)Ties:- All fasteners look to be the same size (unknown quality)- Rubber feet and attachment the same- Both have the same goofy threaded "split" in sling eye tension lever that could eventually strip.- Caldwell has thinner metal on some parts, no-name thicker metal (tradeoff, more durable, but heavier)- BOTH are a cheap china knock-off of a Harris bipod

Fits very nice on my winchester 22 seems to be well made , swivel is a nice touch and it’s sturdy very pleased with it .

Looks good, functions properly, but wouldn't trust it on anything larger than 17 or 22 maybe 223 tops

Lete start off by saying this bipod isn't the best bipod out there. The fit and finish isn't perfect... But for the price, you're not going to find another bipod with these features.The good:+ Swivel adjustment works great+ Legs lock into place easily+ There are little bumps that hold the swivel clamp screw from sliding side to side (you'll know what Iean if you've bought other cheap bipods)+ Comes with a locking lever (a $15 value of you were to buy it by itself)Negatives:- My rifle (a Savage MKii with a factory plastic stock) was too narrow to clamp on causing a bit of side to side wobble when tightened down on the sling stud. This was easily remedied by shimming the mount with a couple of thin strips of felt that I bought at a hobby shop for less than a dollar.- Doesn't look quite as nice as my $100 Harris, but who cares if it works just as well?That being said, none of the negatives were bad enough to dock it a star.I would totally recommend this to my friends (and I already have). This is a superb deal for the what you're getting. If you're looking for a cheap functional bipod with features usually found on high dollar equipment, this is definitely it.
