It took us only two days after arrival of this teapot to realise that it is so badly constructed that the lid that is hinged on the body of the pot does not properly shut and the fault had to be reported the fault to the Amazon Customer Service. The appearance of the teapot is smart but its function much to be desired.

put a magnet on this and it doesnt stick. this is not staimless steel. very expensive but poorly made
