Cuando realizamos instalaciones de cámaras de seguridad, cada una lleva su propio transformador, que va enganchado algún enchufe de la pared, esto es un engorro además de resultar muy contraproducente para la centralización de las averías. Éstas cajas llegan para solucionar este problema y muchos otros añadidos, por una parte no tendremos cada batería con su enchufe de la pared, por otra parte las averías eléctricas quedarán centralizadas en una sola caja, y no esparcidas por todo el centro.La caja tiene fusibles, uno por salida con lo cual antes de romperse la cámara ante una subida de tensión se romperá el fusible.También cuenta con un LED Para ver si está en funcionamiento o no dicha salida, tenemos un interruptor general para cortar el suministro de todas las salidas.La caja es metálica y tiene una cerradura bastante buena a mi parecer.Quizás la fuente de alimentación se queda un poco corta para tener tantas salidas de cámara, pero eso ya depende de los tipos de cámaras que nosotros tengamos que instalar, si debemos instalar una cámara que consuma más tenemos que coger una fuente alimentación más potente y si nuestras cámaras en cambio consumen poco podemos coger una fuente alimentación menos potente.

This was bought to power a 14-camera CCTV system, replacing the nasty individual integrated plug/transformers that so often break down, causing snowstorm pictures.In that regard this unit is really good, enabling individual isolation of each feed and easy troubleshooting. And it's £34+VAT, representing very good value considering what is supplied. All circuits are now producing almost exactly 12vDC on my meter with no adjustment necessary, and it is very stable. The pilot lights for each, and the mains power LED on the outside, are useful and while the case is not massively secure it is robust and serviceable, as well as being reasonably compact.Where it is inadequate is in the design of the terminal blocks, and the complete lack of stress relief provision for AC or DC circuits. The 230vAC input is dangerous and a poor design for DIY installation: unsecured, all it would take is a gentle tug and either the conductors would pull out or the flimsy soldered block would pull off the board, potentially making the case live. I drilled the case at the bottom, fitted an M20 cable gland, a cable clamp and terminated with crimped ring terminals to try and make it acceptable.On the DC outputs, bootlace fittings help with insertion but as others have said, the blocks are weakly soldered to the board and can't be overtightened.Overall the PSU is performing well.
