I have tracks from Wen, and these are a little thick but they work just fine if you aren't doing like crazy precise stuff which I'm not. I did put a lot of weight on them which flattened them a little bit and that helped. Issues I have with these in general is part of my own enough to suit and has nothing to do with the product itself. They're sturdy and they have a good adhesive on them.

This splinter guard seems to be a touch thinner and a touch more flexible than my (pretty old) Makita brand.People seem to have definite opinions about splinter guard flexibility, with some preferring the more rigid (such as Festool) thinking it's more effective as it pushes down harder. Others prefer the more flexible (such as Makita) as it's less brittle.I don't think it makes a difference.What does make a big difference is the adhesive.Makita brand is the best out there (much better than Festool), withstanding temperature extremes without failure, yet still removing cleanly.I don't know if this is as good as Makita, I sure hope so.But I won't know until the track has been through a hot summer and a cold winter.It did go on cleanly and the initial hold is very good, so I am optimistic.
