I have been buying a plethora of shinguards for my almost 10-year-old son. He definitely likes the smaller shinguards so that he can just slip them into shorter socks so I have been on the hunt for the correct size. Wow these are a great value, especially for two pair, I am not very confident on their durability.These mini shin guards barely cover any of the leg at all, and my son is very small for his age. They were even a bit too small for his liking so I would say these are definitely not appropriate size for an adult. In my opinion, these mini shards would be OK for a very first time soccer player, who was resistant to putting on bullshit guards as they are more comfortable Then original strap on shin guards. If they were about an inch bigger and height and a half an inch bigger in width. I think they would be perfect but at this size I just don’t feel confident enough with the lack of protection.

My 14 year old decided that full sized shin guards are out because he doesn't want to have to wear long soccer socks. He even ruined a pair of old shin guards by cutting them down. I ordered these for him instead. At $8 for 2 pairs, I figure it was worth trying them out. They are even smaller than I thought they'd be. I worried that they're too small, but my son says he likes them just fine. Go figure.
