I joke with my little granddaughters about eating chocolate covered snails. Now I can make some and surprise them. 😁 The molds work great. I just spray the molds with a little spray cooking oil, melt some chocolate chips, and fill the molds. After they cool it’s easy to pop them out of the molds.

We tried these with chocolate and wax melts and the feet are to shallow to come out clean, the snails had less problems. Overall they're very cute though.

I tried these out with resin for another project I am working on and they turned out great, lots of little details. They are really shallow (especially the frog's feet) so this makes them a bit delicate. Otherwise easy to use, demold and clean. I can see these would be fun for tiny chocolates (especially the frog) or used with fondant and cake making. Plus there is a lot of critters per tray so you can make it rain frogs if you want to!

The first thing that attracted me to these molds was the lizard, snail and frog shapes. The next attractive feature was the potential for making many of these shapes at one time. These molds are initially described as gummy molds in the product description but as I read on it listed multiple, versatile uses for these molds. So I decided to try them for polymer clay and epoxy resin. I took some scrap clay and put it in the mold but it didn’t work that well because the impressions didn’t come out real well. So I have decided to use liquid clay instead as these molds, being made of silicone, can go into the oven. I bake clay at 275 degrees, which this silicone mold can manage with no problems. I will also use some epoxy resin and mica powder to make some little charms with these molds. These molds are very flexible and they actually stack together easily. I’m glad I got them as they will be fun to play with!!
