Use these on my ATS-25 and they work awesome. Only thing that is better so far is a long wire, and that is not very portable for a take along.

The Malahit DSP2 comes with a standard telescopic antenna, but reception is just average. Therefore bought the 2 donut antenna'sThe reception is amazingly good considering its a small indoor antenna. You can select the frequency range, and tune for the most optimal setting. It works on the Malahit DSP2 perfectly with Hi8 and pre amplification.I was able to receive both on MW and various short wave frequencies much more stations.Outside the frequency range the benefits are gone. One good example is FT8 at 14,074 Mhz reception is very very good.See also pictures. With an outdoor antenna on your roof, you will get a much better signal. But I wanted something, cheap for indoors or travel. And this is a perfect match for the Malahit DSP2

They do not work. Tried them with several SDR's and other radios. I get no signal. I am attempting to return. They didn't reply to my request for refund but asked if I got the item. Now just giving me the run around. Do not deal with this company (Sugreat-us) !!!!!!

Based on reviews had high hopes for these PCB antennas. Total junk. Doesn't receive any signals, ANY band. Can't even receive local AM or FM. The short telescoping antenna on two different receivers pulled in many stations in AM and FM bands in comparison.

Summary:While the loop antennas did show signal, it did not outperform a generic antenna as I would have expected. These might be a good buy if you do not have an antenna. I am concerned with the quality of the product as something is going on with the dial. Additionally without documentation, all I can go by is my observations. They arrived in a box, without safe guards (bubble wrap, etc) and as a result they were kinda twisted/hung together; the dial knob was wedged in the other loop and took a bit to work it free (maybe thats what caused the dial to loose signal .. damaged in shipment??). Anyway, I provided comparison photos and my testing methodology for you to make up your own mind if they work as expected. Due to my poor experience and results, I only give them 2/5 stars.Testing:Limited my testing to the Donut AM Antenna because of easily, verifiable signals. Tested using my tinySA ULTRA SDR, a small spectrum analyzer I use to scan frequency ranges. For the test I set the start frequency @ 250KHz (250KHz step below the Donut AM antenna 'L'ow range of 500KHz - 1000KHz) and the upper range @ 2250KHz (250KHz step above the Donut AM antenna 'H'igh range of 1000KHz - 2000KHz) which resulted in a Step of 200KHz (making each X-AXIS graduation 200KHz, i.e., 250KHz, 450 KHz, 650KHz, etc. for easy reference) so I could test both the LOW and HIGH switch. No documentation came with the antenna (just thrown in a box together) so I assume the tuning knob "zeroes in" on the frequency range, i.e., the marker to the right is lower range and turning knob clockwise to the left to the higher frequency end of whichever scale the Low/High switch is on. I also presume the scale increments below the knob represent the scale of the range, so midway of the knob represent the middle of the freq range. For reference, as noted in the pics, 1250KHz is an AM radio station in my area, so I expected very good signal and used it as a reference marker. That all said, I tested:1. no antenna2. the Donut AM Antenna, HIGH RANGE selected (1000KHz - 2000KHz)3. the Donut AM Antenna, LOW RANGE selected (500KHz - 1000KHz)4. fully extended generic metal antenna that came with the tinySA (like you see on most transistor radios, etc.)Results:1. as expected, no antenna yielded the worst results.2. & 3. the Donut AM Antenna yielded visible signals improvement, but I saw no changes when I turned the dial, so I am not sure the purpose is. I even noticed that sometimes I turned the know and lost ALL signal improvement, like the antenna was disconnected. I was able to get signals back by tweaking the dial, but this happened several times so maybe a problem in quality of part or construction.4. fully extended generic metal antenna yielded visibly best signals.
