Z-axis nuts are a consumable item on 3D printers. They're made of brass (soft) and the lead screw is made of steel (hard) so they wear out. I bought these to replace the one in my Creality Ender 3 printer when I was experimenting with Z-hop and I noticed the action was sloppy and not hopping accurately. They fit the screw well and when compressed the spring pushes in both directions so they accurately feed in both the positive and negative directions. These are a worthy upgrade and I'll definitely carry on using them
