these are great for putting on your dogs' collar in these dark evenings. i love the way you can just press them to come on-n fiddling about. however, as to their sturdiness, i shall wait and see. they didn't have any instructions with them, so i am not sure how you 'recharge the batteries'. you will also have to be careful the battery does not fall out whilst you are doing this and a dog swallows it, as this would kill them-they are quite fiddly.
