This pair of spacers is well made with a good finish, though I don’t think they’re either chromed or stainless steel.The threads are reasonably clean. The thread for inserting into the oxygen sensor socket on your exhaust system has a chamfered shoulder, so you can’t really use a copper sealing washer of any kind to seal the joint. Exhaust paste could do the job though.Though you get a pair, a bit of googling suggests that the spacer should go in the post-cat sensor position, as pre-cat could seriously affect engine’s adjustment of the fuel/air mix with perhaps a tendency to make the mix too lean, causing damage.
