Got these for my bedroom window for the safety of my cat, the backing sticker was a bit fiddly to get off, but once done, was a good stickiness, screws are also supplied, but didn't use them . Worth the money. Reccomend

I installed these on two smaller windows that open inwards and, when the wind blows, tend to knock everything off the windowsills or bang against the wall. Also, I want to keep the cats from sneaking out. I used the adhesive to install them as I didn't want to drill into the wood and it seems to be quite sturdy/sticky. I can't say how they will hold up in heavier winds but for the mild winds we've been having lately, they're perfectly fine with adhesive only.
