Cast part of the product seems to be made well and attaches without problems to the ball head. The small D ring on the bottom however has some play and doesn’t instill confidence to carry the camera by, while on the original manfrotto it’s very sturdy looking

Needed a new quick release plate for my Manfrotto "3 way tilt" tripod head (it's a 'mark II' I think).That one originally came with the 200lt-pl plate (lost it), but fits the 200pl as well.Did some measurements based on an original 200pl. It's an almost perfect replica.Fits tightly on my tripod - no wobble (a tiny bit more on the tight side, if anything. Which is better :))The plate is solid aluminium, with a thick, heavy duty paint coat.The D-ring is not as fancy as the original, but the ring is a bit larger (which will perhaps make it easier to handle in cold weather). Also, the ring 'clamps' in flat position quite well.The rubber layer seems durable at first glance. (Too early to say anything about longevity)I would definitely recommend these as back-ups or replacements for your tripod.Or for when you have multiple DSLR cameras, or light sources that accept a 1/4 camera thread.(I'll probably use one for my GoPro, and one for my DSLR)Way better quality than what I expected at this price. Plus, you get 2 (two) of them.Compared to prices of the original branded ones, €13 is a steal

Nice and chunky, these feel very sturdy and solid. They screw nice and tight so your cameras feel very secure on a tripod. I think I paid under £9 for a pack of two. Great value.
