These connector plug cable assemblies are ideal if you are planning on doing some work on a Raspberry Pi 5 fan header. In my case I am working on an alternative case and fan assembly and will be using a Noctua PWM fan instead. The ordering of the wire colours is unsurprisingly different to the fan supplied with the official Raspberry Pi effort but you can lift the retaining latches on the connector with tweezers or the point of a scalpel blade and withdraw them if you would like to change their order. Alternatively just be careful with the re-wiring.
