Nice little books and pens perfect for end of season gifts. A few errors in the wording of print on books must have not been checked correctly. Nevertheless they are pretty good value for what they are. Pens write well.

The set comes very well packaged with each item individually wrapped and then the whole in another wrap. The notebooks have a different Bible verse on them and has a matching pen with the same verse. The paper is thick enough for a notebook and there is only a slight indentation on the reverse side. The pens are comfortable to hold and balance well and they all worked. In the photo, the writing is slightly uneven but that is because I am left-handed and the spiral binding got in the way. For normal purposes, I would probably turn the book around so that the spiral is on the right-hand side which means that I can exert slightly more pressure.The only slight negative is the lack of total accuracy between the verses on the notepad and on the matching pen. The worst one said on the notepad “LET all BLESS YOU BE DONE IN love” 1 Corinthians 16:14 which doesn’t make total sense although you get the drift readily enough. The pen more correctly says “Let all that you do be done in love”. For some, this may not matter at all but for others, it might be a bit aggravating. Also, “God” should probably have a capital letter as a form of reverence and respect and it is usually treated as a proper noun.The negatives that I have highlighted are, perhaps, quite minor and picky and I haven’t removed a star for this. Overall, this is a very good set and can easily be separated into pen and notepad sets to give to others, possibly Sunday school children. The current price of £19.99 for ten notepads and ten matching pens, represents good value. Recommended.

The kids wanted these to gift to their friends at the end of term and excitedly waited for the package to arrive.Upon opening I was shocked at the number of layers the pens are wrapped in whilst the notebooks were inadequately wrapped and bent out of shape due to the way they were tightly packed.The wrapping…The pens are in individual plastic pouches, all ten pens are then sealed inside a resealable plastic bag which is then sealed inside another non-reusable plastic bag.The books are stacked opposite ways (spirals alternating left to right) then sealed in a plastic wrapper.Both the pens and books are then further sealed inside a thick grey packaging envelope.The pens are overpackaged, the individual pouches are great for gifting purposes, yet the books are underpackaged, they have no individual wrapper and having been compressed into one pile the covers are bent at the edges by the spirals of the books above and below in the pile plus some have a round indent from the button on the back of the book on top.The pensThese are packaged to gift individually.They are lightweight and “plasticky”. They write in black ink.The booksI counted the pages, there are 50 per book as stated in the sales description.The covers are made of cardboard, a little flimsy but better than throw away plastic.There is an elastic loop held onto the inside back cover by a metal button. The loop is big enough to take a standard pencil, I pushed a pen in but it was tricky and once in place the book would not close as depicted in the sales photo (see attached photo).At the current price of £19.99 these items are £1 per each. The loss of some of the books due to damage in transit means some cannot be gifted and increases the cost per giftable unit. In addition I’d prefer each book to individually wrapped for gifting purposes.

This set of ten notebooks and matching pens is good quality and excellent value. The notebooks are small and spiral-bound. They feature an elastic pen holder on the back cover through which to insert the matching pen. The pens write beautifully in fine ink.The Scripture verses printed on the front covers of the notebooks and the pens are encouraging and uplifting, rendering the notebooks and pens thoughtful little gifts. However, I have deducted a star because the verse on one notebook (but not its matching pen) is incorrect: it reads, “Let all bless you be done in love”. In addition, in the verses printed on two of the notebooks and their matching pens, the word ‘God’ is not capitalised. However, Christians universally capitalise the word ‘God’ because it refers to a person and is therefore a proper noun. Consequently, three of the books and two of the pens are not giftable.

Amazon Vine Review.I was sent this product in exchange for an honest review. I work in a Catholic school and got these are little gifts for the children. They loved them and thought that they were cute, and the parents seemed really happy with them as well. They are decent quality for what, small but usable.Overall these make a really good gift and I have a feeling more will be purchased in the near future.
