Super happy with this purchase. I have been looking for a weather radio for quite some time and ended up purchasing this one. It is small and portable and has a nice handle to carry it around when needed. The flashlight and reading lights are very bright. It has an SOS mode which, if I ever needed to use it, is very loud and would probably get attention from someone. Straight from the box I think it took about 7 hours to get it fully charged to 100% using the provided USB-C cable. I do not know yet about battery life but will find out during future use.It is easy to use and very simple. It can be wound up for charging which is really nice and seems to work quite well while messing around with it. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and feel a little bit more prepared for bad weather than may come around.

This emergency radio is a FANTASTIC device to add to your camping or emergency preparedness arsenal.It is small and lightweight, weighing less than two pounds. It contains many items that one needs during a camping trip or an emergency.The batteries can be recharged using the included solar panel or hand cranked. It is powerful enough to run the radio, provide light, and also charge two USB devices. Besides AM and FM, it also has the NOAA weather bands to keep you informed during emergencies.Another great feature is that, in the handle strap, it has a cutter, compass, fire starter, and whistle.It's small enough to keep in a backpack or, in the back of your car.Consider getting multiple radios to have in different spots... just in case.5-Stars for this Emergency Radio

We use this emergency radio during beach camping and cleanups at Padre Island National Seashore, and it’s been solid. We keep it hooked up to a power bank and tuned to NOAA around the clock, which helps us stay on top of shifting weather while we’re out in it. Compared to other radios I’ve used, this one stands out mostly for its larger battery. At 20,000mAh, it doesn’t need to be babied as much, and it’ll run longer between charges.The built-in hand crank is there if you need it, but like just about every radio in this category, you’re not going to get very far spinning that thing unless you're planning to spend some quality time working your forearm. It’s better to keep it charged through a power bank or with a solar panel if you’ve got one. I wouldn’t rely on the small solar panel on the radio itself unless you’ve got a lot of sun and a lot of time.The other features—flashlight, reading light, SOS alarm—are all functional, though we mainly use it as a weather radio. The build feels sturdier than the cheaper units I’ve used in the past. All in all, if you spend time in places where cell service can’t be counted on and you need NOAA coverage, this one’s worth having in your kit.

Obtained this radio primarily for to use in weather related power outages. Unfortunately, it is woefully unable to tune in weather stations. It does not matter if the antenna is used or not. Up or down or moving it around does not improve the ability to tune weather station channels. Other features such as the light work fine as does the manual charging.Even if successful in tuning in a weather station, this radio can’t hold onto the signal. The channel fades in and out. I have an old Radio Shack weather-band radio that is able to lock in and hold a station signal. One would think a new radio would be able to do the same. Not recommended.
