The plastic tube that is attached to the pump, cracks just after using it for a short time. When using the other tube-end, the problem appears again.

First time using I attached plastic tubing to lid and it worked well (using IPA) for 5 mins then stopped working as tube had split. I turned tube around, used for 5 more mins and that end split also. Tried patching with different tape without success. Finally got to work by cutting off one of the split ends and warning in hot water to soften slightly, re-attached quickly and now seems to be working okay. A note suggesting to do this first would have really helped.
