It was one of the cheaper buoys available but I found the quality (so far) to be great, despite its low price.It fits quite a lot and I managed to include my shoes, a short and a t-shirt, my keys and a small towel and then swam with it.The only minor complaint is that the guide is in Chinese but it's not difficult to figure things out.

The pictures and description are accurate. I have not used a product like this before as I have not had the opportunity to do wild swimming. However, I thought how useful it might be when going to the beach in that I can swim some distance without worrying about loosing my towel and will ensure boats and wind surfers can see me. Will update the review when I have used it but so far I can recommend it considering the price.It is made of a bright orange PVC material which has ample welds and strong handle used to attach the line and belt. Handled with reasonable care it should last considering that in use it is unlikely to contact sharp objects etc. An advantage of being made of PVC is that it is also light weight.The phone pocket is large and very transparent. Completely sealed to the outside, the pocket is accessed from inside ensuring good protection. Unlike a separate waterproof pouch it is less clutter whilst swimming and should be easier to use the phone in an emergency. However, I would not be able to use my phone in this pocket to take pictures as it is only transparent on one side.The instructions on how to attach the belt were very poor and mainly in Chinese but it was fairly easily to figure out. The line and belt are made of matching orange webbing and should be comfortable. The line length adjusts from 40 to 80 cm. so that it does not interfere with your swim stoke. I measured the belt will fit 24 to 48 inch waist as opposed to the 26inch to 50 inch advertised. Very tall or large people could easily add webbing if required.

This is a brilliantly simple buoyancy device that also acts as a dry bag. I used it to put my phone, keys and a snack bar in and the first time out I also put my phone into one of those waterproof phone covers just in case. I needn’t have bothered because everything stayed perfectly dry, despite my experimental attempts to submerge it!The dry bag part can be used to trap air and is therefore buoyant enough on its own, but you can also inflate an inflation chamber to really pack it out with air via a standard air valve type feature. Inflating the air chamber reduces the storage capacity significantly, so I found it best to put your items into the dry bag first, buy them a but of space by trapping air and then sealing, and then inflating the air chamber.The build quality is excellent and this was buoyant enough to keep me well afloat when not swimming, enough even for my bulky frame. When swimming it sits on top of the water and causes very little drag and so is barely noticeable. It’s also great to have the added visibility.When you are done you can either roll it away into a small little package, or use it to carry your wet gear. A really excellent and potentially life saving bit of kit and great value for the money.

Item received in good condition. The swim buoy is essentially a dry bag which also inflates so its very handy for any water sports enthusiasts as a very good way of keeping your items dry but also as a buoy if any situation arises where you made need this.The material is strong and tough and and it works really well as a dry bag. Then once inflated you have your buoy so it really doubles up as two items.I live on the coast and we often swim in the harbour in our wetsuits so I thought I would try this out and take items in with me in the bag. It performed very well and it kept the items fully dry inside the dry bag and the buoy worked well too. Its not a replacement for a life vest but it does work well as a flotation device especially useful in an emergency situation.

Material is not as good as others I have, feels thin and plastic like a cheap inflatable.Worried could get damaged quite easily, which as a safety device I really do not want when swimming.The bag is small and you can fit a few things in, maybe a snack or small microfibre towel.Probably overpriced for the quality in my opinion, worth £5 max.

The added touch screen waterproof bag is great, allowing me to browse my phone anytime while swimming.The buoy is made from eco-friendly PVC material, which is durable and non-toxic. It inflated quickly with the easy-to-use nozzle and didn’t interfere with my swimming stroke. The adjustable waist belt fit comfortably, even over my wetsuit.I loved the separate waterproof storage compartment. It kept my stuff dry, solving the issue of where to store personal items. The magnetic suction port improved the sealing, so I didn’t worry about water getting in.The buoy provided plenty of buoyancy, offering a safe place to rest when needed. I highly recommend this swim buoy for anyone who swims in open water. It’s a must-have for safety and convenience!
