This length of small diameter and black tubing arrived coiled up neatly and secured with some electrical tape and placed into a small grip-seal pouch for shipping, which all worked well enough and it arrived in good shape. I believe it’s made from PVC, but there is no statement on the packaging, tube or product listing stating what it actually is, which is my one and only complaint about this product.Once I unpacked it, I gave it the usual check with a rule to see if the quoted ID and OD are accurate, which they are with 1mm wall thickness and 3mm/5mm ID & OD. Of course, with this being a 1mm wall thickness tube without any reinforcement and the lack of any specs about the hose’s PSI rating, it wouldn’t be a smart option for pressurised systems. It looks and feels exactly like the same diameter PU hose you might use with a small compressor but without the printed info on the tube. It might work but I wouldn’t suggest it when you can just buy the rated stuff for around the same cost.For the intended applications of irrigation, this stuff is spot on and will have no problems transferring water as needed or acting as a dripper with some holes poked into it. Another benefit of the smaller sizing and thin walls is that it’ll take a bend and repeated flexing just fine and it can also do a full 90 degree bend before kinking over to prevent flow.For the other reviewers complaining that this is too tight, I'm a little confused as that's kind of what you want. It’s extremely common for the fitment between a barbed connector and hose to be almost too tight to do up without using a bit of lubrication and/or some heat to soften and expand the tubing enough to fit. You don’t even need to use a potentially destructive open flame from a lighter to soften things, a container with some boiling water will be more than enough to soften the end of the tubing. A hair dryer or a proper heat gun are probably the most convenient methods if you have those handy, but either way this will fit onto a 3mm barb tightly if you take the correct steps.The asking price of £9.99 feels fair for 20 metres of tube, the nearest product with the same dimensions I can find is asking the same for just a 10-metre length. So it's one of, if not, the best value option for micro tubing of this size available on Amazon at the moment.

Bad quality irrigation tubing. Theres much better available within the uk. Not very thick and is hard to get onto 3mm fittings
