De grootste vijanden van koffiebonen zijn lucht, vocht, warmte en licht.

Om de verse, geroosterde smaak en smaak van je koffie van je bonen te behouden, bewaar ze in een ondoorzichtige, luchtdichte container bij kamertemperatuur. Bewaar je bonen op een donkere en koele plaats. Vermijd plaatsen die te warm zijn.

This are perfect for giving roasted coffee as gifts for Christmas. Bags seal easy and are very sturdy and high quality.

Quite happy with these bags. Maybe a little stiff, but they fill and seal easy, and the degas valve is a must for roasted coffee.Easy to heat seal with a regular iron. Just a quick couple of taps to the top, seals without overdoing it and having a harsh chemical smell.The brown paper bag outside material makes writing on the bags easy.

The bags taper so wider at the bottom than top - thickness wise. Not a major deal but made them hard to stuff. Don't recommend for bulky items. But worked well for what I used them for.

Original post -- not accurate:I ordered "standup* bags, so that when full, the bottom fills out and they stand up on their own. What I received are bags that look mostly the same, but that do not stand up. The bottoms fill out, but the two sides are connected all the way down, it just bulges out, there's no flat bottom. The bags are otherwise acceptable so far -- just received, haven't got much experience yet. But I'm bummed I didn't get the ones I ordered that stand up when full.Update:This is a user error (me). The bags do in fact open and stand up as advertised. The bottoms are not quite flat, but I think that's in the nature of this type of folding bag. I hadn't be able to see how to open them, finally pushed in the right way and they are fine. (I really did look the first time around and the bag did not appear to open, so I'd say that the design is lacking a little helpful guidance for people like me who have never used them before.) But otherwise, they do what I wanted and I'm back to being very pleased. My apologies for the initial misleading post. You know what the carpenters say, "measure twice, cut once."

Good price, and great bags for packing up home-roasted coffee. I mostly store roasted beans at home in a jar, but these are great for travel or for gifts. Keeps beans fresh and makes it look nice and professional. I'd say 1/2 lb roasted coffee is about the right capacity, as its rated for.
