I own a new 2015 Audi which came with similar wheel nuts to Mcgards incorporating a spinning collar. Comparing the Audi bolt to the Mcgard, the Mcgard seems better made but there isn't a lot in it. The main difference will be the number of locking combinations available, with most car manufacturers you can get hold of a full set of removal sockets enabling removal of any of their locking wheel nuts because the range of patterns is limited. With Mcgard I believe there are over 1000 patterns, I've ordered replacement sockets in doing so had to supply the serial number of the nuts making acquiring a full set of sockets next to impossible and in the unlikely event someone has a full set the weight of carrying 1000+ sockets then the time to find the correct socket make the whole procedure of stealing wheels with Mcgards impossible or at worse to long. The idea is when a thief comes across Mcgards they go to the next car because trying to remove Mcgards without the key socket causes to much damage to the wheel making them unsellable and unusable until the damage is repaired if it can be repaired. The only negative for me is that they only come with one unlocking socket, two would be better though you can order one for around £16.00 as long as you have the serial number.

Lo compré para un Golf IV y los puse con dinamométrica a 100Nm y encajaron bien y sin problemas de ningún tipo. La llave ni se descacarilló ni melló, todo bien. Buena calidad, y se nota en el precio, que no es barato. Pero la calidad se paga.
