Description:

The MCP4725 is a 12-channel buffered voltage output DAC with non-volatile memory (EEPROM) of. The user can configure the register bit (2) and DAC input data (12) stored in nonvolatile EEPROM (14-bit) memory. By setting the configuration register bits DAC can be configured as a normal mode or power-saving shutdown mode. The device uses a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface, and a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V single supply.

This version of the CJMCU-MCP4725 Breakout fixes a few issues with the board including the IC footprint, the I2C pinout, changes the overall board dimensions to better fit your projects, and a few more minor tweaks. This board breaks out each pin you will need to access and use the MCP4725 including GND and Signal OUT pins for connecting to an oscilloscope or any other device you need to hook up to the board. Also on board are SCL, SDA, VCC, and another GND for your basic I2C pinout. Additionally, if you are looking to have more than one MCP4725 on a bus, the pull-up resistors on this board can be disabled just check the Hookup Guide in the Documents section below for instructions and tips on doing this.

E' (ovviamente) un clone del prodotto Adafruit, ma funziona bene. Ne ho acquistati due e non hanno dato problemi a parte quello segnalato sotto (usati con Arduino nano, lo dico per completezza, ma non credo abbiano problemi con altri modelli di Arduino).Una unica nota : ho tentato di cambiare l'indirizzo I2C connettendo ADDR a Vcc e non ha funzionato, non ho indagato oltre perché il modulo mi andava bene cosi, se qualcuno indaga ulteriormente sarebbe utile.

Parfait mais impossible de modifier l’adresse I2C contrairement à d’autres breakout boards similaires vendues sur Amazon. (Pin d’adresse à VCC ou GND, l’adresse reste 0x60)

I bought these to emulate a project I made many years ago for college. Back then I used a ZN425 and had to write each value in parallel. With this unit it uses I2C and you write to it serially which is easy, just look on GitHub for some examples. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed about was it couldn't generate very high frequencies, but it worked for what I wanted to emulate. Just remember when you solder the pins to the board to put it on the right way to directly connect to Arduino. I did the first one wrong!

Habe nach viel Kopfschmerzen geschafft, die Beispiele der Adafruit MCP4725 Bibliotek zum Laufen zu bringen. Die I2C-Adresse ist 0x60 statt 0x62 (wenn A0 ungelötet oder zur Erdung gelötet ist; keine Ahnung was passiert wenn A0 zur VCC gelötet wird). Ansonsten scheint äquivalent zu Adafruit MCP4725 zu sein.
