This two-pack of weed pullers came in, and neither one had the end cap secured in place, showing poor quality control somewhere along the line. I added some wood glue and some pressure for a minute or so, and these rings are secured, for now. In my first use around the house, I found them to be string and durable, and the ring didn't fall off any more. They easily poked through a rock layer and got underneath the weed roots. The wooden handle isn't THAT comfortable, but in a nice set of leather gloves, it works. I would also prefer these to be a bit longer and have a bent tip -- maybe I'll make that mod myself yet. A decent middle-of-the-road solution, but not stellar.

I needed to replace a cheap weed puller. I say cheap since when you push it into the ground and try to pull a deep weed. the shaft bent. That made doing its job virtually impossible.This has much stronger metal, stainless steel, so when inserted into the ground (unless the ground is dry and hard), the shaft stays straight making it easy to pull deeply rooted weeds. It's a nice product for a fair price.
