30 Simple Songs for ChromaNotes Musical Instruments: Music for Beginners

Got this for my nephews and the songs are easy to follow along with! I’m so excited to watch them learn to sight read and play along to songs while using color and letter knowledge. Would recommend!

Numerous songs in this book are not in the key of C major, but the accompanying material says that red (C) matches with "do.". This is going to lead to confusion later on if the student is going to use movable-do solfege.It would have been much better to transpose everything to C. That way, it could prepare for both movable-do or fixed-do in the future.
