I have several climbing plants that need support, like a rambling Rose and a couple of Clematis, and this kit is perfect for giving them the framework to clamber up. They come supplied in a basic box with all the components bagged for safety.You will need to supply your own tools for putting them up (although they do supply an allen key). We used pliers to open up the ends/ cut the wire, and a drill to screw into the wall. Basically you need to attach one end, cut the wire to the correct length, before securing the other end. You can then tension the wire using the included turnbuckles (which are brilliant!).The wire is lovely - it's plastic coated so that it stands up to the weather better, and appears very strong (certainly strong enough to support my plants). The fixings appear to be stainless steel too, which will last longer, and they're all well made - no poor seams or sharp pieces sticking out.It's a brilliant little kit and exactly what I needed. I've not used all the kit either, as plenty of pieces are supplied, and I think it's priced well for all the included components. I've very happy with this kit and definitely recommend.

This kit has all you need to string at least four complete wires, depending on how you use the components. The instructions are fairly brief, but after a bit of trial-and-error I was able to assemble some pleasingly-formed tight wires for hanging.The wire itself is plastic-coated. It's fairly difficult to cut with standard pliers/cutters, but I managed it without too much trouble. It takes a bit of effort to pull it tight around the loop-forming parts and complete the piece with a collett and a clamp. I've deducted one star because in order to get the wire neatly attached to the tensioner, it was necessary to spring one of those loop-formers over the eyelet, and I could find no easy way to do that: it took a lot of struggling with pliers, and a slightly deformed loop-former. Perhaps I was missing something: the instructions showed one in place, but I couldn't see any way to get it there without a lot of effort.The end result is good, though: the completed wires look smart, and are easy enough to hang up and tension, for indoor or ourdoor use.

A pretty robust kit, that contains everything you need to get a climber started. Easy to put up once I'd watched a few youtube videos, and once up it feels very strong. Having the tensioners included is really useful, as you do need to re-tension the cable every year as it stretches a little, so don't forget to twist them to fully open before you start assembling everything (they arrive fully closed). I've no doubt it'll be there for years to come.When it arrived the kit was a reassuringly heavy weight, and everything seems of reasonable quality. The one thing I would warn is that there are no instructions whatsoever with this, but as I said, we just looked a few instructional vid's up on youtube and we were good to go. You get everything you need to put up a climbing plant structure, but do take care to double-check your measurements, as you'll get through the cable surprisingly quickly. We had an extra roll of it just in case, and I'm glad we did, as we needed it. Nothing in the kit feels flimsy at all though, and nothing stripped its thread or broke whilst assembling, from the large guide eyelets to the tension buckles.All you'll need extra are some wood/masonry drills, plus a really stout set of wire cutters to cut the PVC coated cable, which fortunately we already had. The cable tie-off clamps are very fiddly, though this seems par for the course and not just this particular kit.In all though, a really useful and well put together little kit. Recommended.

35 m of Stainless Steel Cable plus a generous selection of fittings can have multiple uses in the home and garden.Hanging heavy pictures and mirrors or acting as a tension wire for suspending a string of photos.Rigging garden structures with guy lines.And simply guiding / restraining plants into position against, say, a wall or fence.A versatile kit.My only reservation is that some of the fittings seem fairly crudely finished, but testing with a magnet reveals that most are only mildly magnetic and hence probably stainless steel.I was worried that there would be different metals, steel and alloy, giving rise to corrosion problems, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
