I don't think mine came with any instructions and it took both me and my brother at least 10/20 minutes to work out how to open it haha.There's an obvious gab that shows where it probably opens but the tray is really stiff and hard to get out at first until you work out the best way!I gifted a present to my dad inside it and he couldn't work it out!But its not bad for a bit fun and a gimmick, its well made too and makes a good prop or stand for a desk decoration after

My nephews love these as way to get their gifts! I hide money and small gifts like an initial chain in them! They are ALWAYS a hit!
