After ordering this item, I thought to myself that I could probable make one. When I received the item, I was so glad that I ordered from a "pro" because there looks to be a lot of thought and care into this design. I got this to record my tennis matches. This works well and is very stable on the fence.When you don't have to think too much about your equipment, it means that it is doing its job. Well made materials, not flimsy at all. I don't plan to use the phone adapter nor the camera screw adapter, but good to know that I can. The action camera adapter is stable, and cabe be rotated horizontally (pan) so I can get the exact angle that I need.Great product !

I used this product for filming baseball games behind home plate. My phone fit fine and was easy to hook to the fence. The adapter that the phone to attaches is too far away from the fence causing the camera to pick up the fence wire and make the video blurry in those places. The distance probably keeps the phone safe, but the blurry streaks are distracting.

If you’re willing to wait a month for delivery, this works just as well as the other pricier options for about a fifth of the price. Comes with adaptors for both a phone or action camera. It does the job just fine.
