Habe sie für die Isolierarbeiten unseres Dachbodens mit einer Firsthöhe von ca. 2m gekauft, nachdem wir uns mehrmals den Kopf heftig angestoßen und uns blutige Schrammen zugezogen haben. [Ob davon bleibende Schäden entstanden sind, müssen andere beurteilen. ;-) Ich möchte es nicht ausschließen.]Habe dann diese sowie die Uvex U-Cap Premium Anstoßkappe bestellt. Wichtiges Kaufkriterium war auch, dass die Kappe ein kurzes Schild hat, damit die Sicht nach oben nicht zu stark beeinträchtigt wird. Wurden gewohnt schnell geliefert.Die Schutzfuntion wird von beiden vollkommen erfüllt. Es gab keine Verletzungen mehr.Der Unterschied: Beide sitzen sehr gut, diese ist aber noch etwas leichter, trägt nicht so stark auf und sitzt noch bequemer.

Ist bequem und passt

A bump cap is essential if working in enclosed space with loads of bump prone possibilities, but it shouldnt replace a safe helmet if working in fields with heavier bumping or where heavy loads are handled!Pros:- Decent protection at the front and top.- The short brim increase visibility- The top panel has extra cushion for more protection- The backstrap is adjustable and holds firm even for long hair.- Has good insulation for the head against very cold temperature(extra cushion)Cons:- Due to the extra cushion on top you will sweat in no time.- No protection for the base of the skull.- If you don't use the backstrap to secure the cap it will likely fall off if you bend over or overtime.- The extra cushion adds more weight to the cap.The cap provides basic protection against light bumping and still looks stylish compared to a safety helmet. The quality is good.I do have very long hair and at first the cap fall off, if I bend over. With the backstrap it sovlved the issue. The greatest draw back is the extra rubber cushion which makes you sweat very quickly, so it's not recommended in warm or hot environments. Although its good if its cold.In my opion the extra rubber cushion is unnecessary. This bump cap is no substitute for a normal safety helmet but the plastic inlays are sufficient for light bump protection. Perhaps the most notable design flaw is the missing protection for the base of the skull. The backpanel of the cap could be 1-2 cm longer to cover the base. With a longer basepanel it will also help to hold the cap more firm on the head.Due to the nature of my work I can first hand obseve many personell involved in bumping their head and getting injured. There are 4 areas of the head that are prone for these injuries. The front, top, either sides and the back. The later is often forgotten but is in my observation the second most injured area after the front. If some bends over or stick their head into an enclosed space they will often bump their head when retracting out from such space. Perhaps the manufactures can consider this for the design of bump caps in the future. In the meantime I turn the cap around with the brim at the back to give the extra protection for the back. I wish the extra cushion is removable for example with adhesive straps.I like the short brim it gives you a better field of vision.

Qualité médiocre! Je n’en avais pas encore l’utilité, raison de mon retard… j’aurais aimé pouvoir retourner cet article malheureusement j’arrive trop tard !
