These are my favorite adhesive bandages!They're fully waterproof and if you apply them properly and they'll last the entire day no matter how many times you wash your hands, shower, swim, etc. I typically remove adhesive bandages off at bedtime to allow the wound to breath overnight (I use gauze and tape provided the wound is no longer bleeding).These adhesive bandages are so thin, they don't restrict movement in any way, shape, or form. They're so sheer, you'll barely notice it's there! But unfortunately, this is also their only downfall. These adhesive bandages are a bit tricky to apply, and you need to know how to do it. Since they are so sheer, they can easily stick to itself if you're not careful. And if this happens, you may as well get a new bandage and start all over. Even if you can manage to get it adhered to you, it will not be comfortable.To properly apply these Nexcare Adhesive Bandages and not waste any follow these steps:1. Clean the wound. If it's fresh and you're still bleeding, have someone help you by getting the adhesive bandage ready.2. On each individual bandage, there's a split at one of the short ends. Pull apart here completely.The bandage will actually be stuck to one of the two sides. This is normal. At this time, you should also see a white strip on the perimeter of the bandage.IMPORTANT: DO NOT REMOVE THE WHITE STRIPS ON THE PERIMETER just yet.These white strips serve to provide structure to the super thin, yet waterproof, adhesive membrane.You should notice that on one end, this white strip is thicker than the other end.3. Carefully remove the bandage from the packaging using the thick end of the white strip. BE SURE TO LEAVE THE WHITE STRIP ON THE BANDAGE ITSELF!4. Apply the cotton portion of the bandage directly onto the wound and press on the thin membrane to affix it to your skin. Do the best you can to remove any air bubbles. If you need to adjust it, carefully use the white strips on on the perimeter to pull the bandage off and reapply.5. Once affixed to your skin without air bubbles, remove the white strips from the perimeter one at a time and affixing the exposed edges as you do so. Remember try you best to ensure there are no air bubbles.The only other notable is that it advertises that these are breathable. All this means is that air is able to pass through, and I'm sure 3M would not false advertise this, so I'm sure it is breathable. But, it's definitely not very breathable. If you keep this bandage on overnight and remove the next morning, any surface it covered will be more pale, a sure sign of lack of oxygen. It may also be a bit wrinkly (if on fingers) from trapping moisture. This is why I typically use gauze and skin tape overnight provided the bleeding has stopped. This will allow the wound to scab over and begin the healing process.But aside from the breatheability, and the trickiness in applying it, these are amazing! They're completely waterproof and they're so sheer you will maintain mobility in even the smallest of joints. They're very comfortable and you'll barely notice that you're wearing a bandage. They may be a bit pricey, but they're totally worth it if you need something sheer and waterproof!Taking them off may be a tad difficult to if you don't have any fingernails. But once you get an edge, go slowly and you should have no problems removing it entirely.

I don't buy any other bandages except these. Easy to apply, almost invisible and (most importantly) completely waterproof - so long as there are no wrinkles in the adhesive part.They stay on until you deliberately remove them. Great for little knees
