Op de gok besteld om de oude oorkussens van mijn Optime II te vernieuwen, en past perfect. Er staat nergens in de omschrijving dat ze ook voor dit model geschikt zouden zijn, maar geen enkel probleem. De oorkussens zijn ook nog eens beter dan de originele kussens, deze sluiten beter aan.

These do fit the 3M worktunes, but the instructions aren't very clear. They say to pull off the old pads, but that's nearly impossible to do with bare hands. When looking on youtube for more info, I found several videos that said to pull off the pads from the plastic backing and stick the new ones on with double sided tape. But these pads have a plastic backing already in place, which have a moulded in ridge that looks like it has to snap in to something. The trick is to use a screwdriver and put that in the small slot next to the hinge and carefully pry the (in my case yellow) piece of plastic off, including the pad. Then you can just put these back instead of the old ones. Now to see how long they last.

Rolled the dice to see if these are a much cheaper alternative to the HY80 kit for Comtacs and Tactical Pros. Yes, they fit. They're easier to snap in than the HY80 but still snug. The gel is firmer than the HY80s which may or may not be a bother. Works better for me as I find the HY80s to be soft enough that my ear touches the inner foam pad on occasion. Others with less Ewok ears it might not matter so much. So the firmer pads of the HYG is welcome. Also better passive sound attenuation with a firmer gel.
