Echt ontzettend mooie banjo met prachtig geluid.

È il mio primo banjo e non ho paragoni ma direi che da molte soddisfazioni, il suono mi è buono, è comodo da suonare, sembra ben fatto il tutto ad un prezzo veramente basso. Attenzione al setup, per svariati motivi il banjo non arriva pronto all'uso ma bisogna posizionare il ponte (nulla di complicato ma è da fare, basta seguire un tutorial su YouTube e il gioco è fatto). Nel mio caso è stato anche necessario tendere la pelle (la chiave è in dotazione) regolare la curvatura del manico e (anche per questo la chiave è in dotazione) e regolare l'inclinazione del manico rispetto al corpo (la chiave per questa operazione non è in dotazione). Sono lavori più semplici di quanto sembri quindi niente paura. Considerando il prezzo e la qualità dello strumento merita 5 stelle (di più non se ne possono dare). Il servizio di Amazon come sempre impeccabile!

Banjo acheté pour l'entraînement ; j'avais besoin d'un second qui ne craignait pas les animaux et que je pouvais donc laisser à portée de mains dans le salon.Le chevalet n'est pas monté pour le transport ; il est de petite qualité, je l'ai changé par un plus robuste ainsi que les cordes. A prévoir à l'achat.Si vous n'y connaissez rien en banjo, des tutos existent sur Youtube.Il est nécessaire de vérifier la tension de la "peau" ; des tirants n'étaient pas serrés. La clé fournie n'est pas robuste ; je conseille d'investir dans une trousse à outils ainsi que dans des produits spécifiques à l'entretien de votre instrument.Je l'utilise en open back, c'est plus léger (pratique)Attention au mécanisme de la 5ème corde : c'est du direct, il faut y aller très doucement à l'accordage.

I wanted a cheap banjo that I could keep at my son’s house to practice when I visit, so it’s just for occasional use. This fitted the bill so I bought it when I saw it on offer.The price of this 3rd Avenue banjo goes up and down more than a yoyo, but you can get some amazing bargains if you time your purchase right. Choose carefully!As a banjo, it's definitely at the lower end of the market: The bridge is just about the cheapest piece of wood you can imagine; the 5th string tuning peg isn't geared so lacks precision and could slip; and the small, round 5th string nut is really poor (but it has so far done the job). Also, the spacing of the fret markings on the neck matches that found on guitars rather than banjos, with a mark at the 9th instead of than the 10th fret.You can tell it's been built to a budget but if you're ok with that, then you won't be disappointed.Setup was just as straightforward as most banjos and it stays in tune well. I took the resonator off and stuffed the pot with tea towels to mute the sound (in consideration of my son’s neighbours!). Whilst the resonator was off I took the time to make sure the tension hooks were all sufficiently tight.If you buy this as a first banjo I would recommend buying a strap, finger picks (if you want to learn 3 finger banjo) and a tuner to go with it.Overall, I'm happy with the banjo – it does what I need.

El banjo es precioso,pesa un poco,hay q montar el puente,ajustar las cuerdas y afinar,en mi caso la quinta cuerda venía mal puesta,al intentar ajustarla poniéndola adecuadamente se rompiò,tendré q comprar una nueva pero no tiene mayor problema,dejar q se asiente el puente,ajustar cuerdas durante unos días,ponerlo a punto afinando y listo,es bonito,suena bien aunque no esté aún afinado ni puesto a punto para q se asiente por unos días,feliz con esta compra a un precio barato.

Bin seit vielen Jahren wieder in einer Bluegrassband und hatte kein Banjo mehr. Bis mein neues Premiumbanjo geliefert wird vergehen noch 2 Monate. Meine Idee war die günstigste bis dahin zu kaufen um schonmal die Finger wieder vorzubereiten. Der "Klang" spielt da erstmal Nebensache...die Brücke schleife ich mir etwas runter und den Sattel feile ich ein bißchen tiefer damit das Banjo wenigstens gut spielbar wird, so der Plan.Nun die große Überraschung.... nichts dergleichen musste ich tun! Nicht schleifen, nicht Kerben...nicht einmal Fell spannen geschweige denn Hals einstellen.Brücke einsetzen, ein paar mal stimmen und schon konnte ich losspielen. Wahnsinn, hätte ich absolut nicht erwartet.Der Sound ist nicht weit weg von dem was ich so von Premium Instrumenten kenne. Zwar nicht vergleichbar aber dennoch erstaunlich brillant und offen im Ton. Super Sustain und sogar stimmstabil und oktavrein.Die 5. Seite ist direkt übersetzt und erfordert ein beherztes drehen.Also alles in allem ein tolles Instrument zum üben mit erstaunlichen Klangeigenschaften und toller Optik!Absolut zu empfehlen für Anfänger oder zum üben.
