This dryer vent cap is built well.The plastic/PVC is a little thinner than I expected. With that said I think it will hold up fine. If you're in an area that would have things hitting at my tree branches it may damage quickly. The finish is really nice and looks modern once on the side of the house. It does not have a shiny metal looking finish.The ring on the inside is a perfect fit for a 4-in metal exhaust vent.Mounting screws and or anchors, as well as Kelly screws to attach it to the vent are not provided.

Works okay, but the closing flap is a joke. Remove it, and buy a proper back draft stopper.
