I chose the GaraDry threshold to stop rain from getting under my garage door without drilling holes in my new door. The 5-year warranty reassured me as I tried this pricey product. The threshold is made of high-quality material that supports my Rav4 without any trouble. The high threshold also helped close the gap on one side of the door. My installer had to troubleshoot around the gap, and once the weather improves, I can address the uneven floor.Despite the gap, I still need the threshold because rain and melted snow were entering the garage the entire length of the door. The included foam blocks were a useful bonus, effectively blocking light from coming through the ends of the entryway.Note: The recommended placement is to put the seal behind the garage door so that the bottom of the door rests on the front of the threshold. The GaraDry website has alternative placements, tips, and the manual. Customer Service is also helpful before purchase. It is recommended that temperatures are in the 50s to 95 F for the glue to stick and dry properly. If you don't plan to use it right away, inspect the item thoroughly within the 14-day return window. Does the job. I had tried brushes on the bottom of the garage door, building up a cement ramp along the floor and still driving rain came in. This item finally beat the rain.
