Measures perfect 1/16 teaspoon amounts... for my cat's medication. There are probably reasons to use these in cooking, but I have never run into a recipe calling for 1/16 tsp of anything (though there's probably some spice you don't need a lot of), but for measuring medication for my cat they work perfectly! Easy to hold/use, easy to scoop with, easy to level off the top of each scoop. Small, like most measuring spoons, so for people with arthritis easy to drop, but they come in a set of four, so you can grab another one and wash the one you dropped later.
