I tried the 4-pack of these castors, which is slightly unusual as it comes with two castors of different sizes with different purposes - one set is sized for internal doors and the other set is larger and suitable for outdoor gates or large doors.Having a mixed size pack like this is a bit unusual and so makes it a bit niche - but great if you need both sizes.At the moment I needed the large castors for a bike ramp project to allow the ramp to be manoeuvred around on wheels and for this purpose they are ideal.The large castors have wheels around 5cm (2inches) in diameter and run nice and smooth.The smaller castors have wheels around 2cm in diameter and also run smoothly. With the smaller ones, as the surface contact area is quite small, if you are running these on carpets and it's taking a bit of weight of a non-vertical door then you will eventually end up with carpet tracks where the wheel runs. It depends on whether you'd rather that or sort out the hanging of your door properly. But will work fine on hardwood, laminate or tiled floor etc.For me the larger ones are more useful as long garden gates inevitably sag over time and this will keep them running smoothly too. Now that I've seen these in action I'll be picking up another gate castor set for that very purpose as I hadn't though about fitting them before now.Overall 4 stars from me for this particular variation - it's quite niche but works well.

Currently attached to a sagging gate which drops under its own weight., these wheels just make it much easier to open, close and lock now as we can get the gate right up to the post.
