Bought this to use after having transplanted a Yucca plant. Obviously did what it is made to do because that Yucca plant is well and truly happy, and has even produced a baby one, still attached in situ'. Would definitely recommend this for the job it's meant for.

This shade fabric is strong and works great! My husband cut this shade in half and attached it to some metal stakes with zip ties. Our young tree is happy, not having to deal with the afternoon sun.

Lightweight, easy to install. No bad smell (no smell of potential chemicals). Sun mesh filters light and keeps plants cool. Very helpful, especially during a heat wave (35-40 C or 95-104 F). It has definitely met my needs. I have ordered four items, different sizes.

This shade cloth is saving my tomatoes, peppers and potatoes during the heat wave here in California right now! I thought my pepper plants (which are less established than my other plants) were doomed until I put this shade cloth up a few days ago. They were dropping all their blossoms in the heat and the leaves were sooo wilted. Now my pepper plants are actually growing again and look healthier than ever - even though it’s still super hot out and there’s no end in sight.This cloth allows enough light through that my tomatoes are still ripening and even putting on new green growth, albeit slowly.The edges are unfinished and initially I wrapped black duct tape over the edges to prevent unraveling. Well I ended up cutting the cloth to cover a smaller area of plants and I realized that it’s woven in such a way that it cannot unravel. So that’s pretty cool.I ended up buying a 2nd one for another row of tomatoes and it’s working out great! Hopefully they hold up and can be used for more than one year.

I have tried growing in containers on my small porch in Texas, but the plants burn up. This year everything is healthy and happy.
