The saw blade has got nice sharp teeth that in my use haven't snagged or gotten caught when cutting chipboard or plywood. I have also tried cutting PVC and it cuts though well but Definity needs sanding afterwards as on 2 cuts I made it did leave quite obvious strands and teeth marks on the end. The grip is nice and easy to hold when sawing. The included screwdriver is good enough to get the screws in when setting up but I wouldn't keep it for anything else once you've put the screws in. The other small issue I did have was the nut moulding in the handle didn't grip one of the nuts well enough to screw in without extra help.

This is a useful, compact hand saw. Ideal for situations where a full sized saw can be awkward to use. The quality looks to be pretty much as I expected and is of a perfectly acceptable standard.The saw itself is indeed quite sharp, cutting softwood is fairly efficient but nothing special and not that surprisingly, a bit slow going when cutting along the grain. Due to the tooth design the resulting cuts are quite rough, this is not a fine finish saw by any means.I received this saw free of charge for review as part of the Vine programme. Although this is a fairly good saw and it certainly has its uses, at £13.99 at the time of ordering I think it is overpriced compared to other options available.
