4DRC drone

This little drone is cute, lightweight and fun to play with. It looks stylish and is ideal for newbies, young and old, who would like to get to grips with using a drone. Perfect gift for adventurous acquaintances.I do like that two batteries are included for the drone. However, at this price point it would have been excellent if the three AAA batteries required for the remote had also been included. I guess this was a trade-off of sorts. Fair enough. The setup was quick and intuitive - to be honest, I initially found the leaflet overwhelming at first, but it contains a lot of details. The charging instructions for the batteries are atypical - the opposite of what is normally encountered. The light on the cable goes ON when the battery is fully charged. But it also goes on when it is not plugged into an outlet. Confusing.Try as I might, I have not been able to get the drone to do the rolling function which is described on the leaflet. If it bumps into something and lands upside down, it has to be physically retrieved and flipped right side up again. This is annoying if the drone is far away, as it cannot be flown back unless it is flipped over.But the main issue for me is that it is noisy and I can't switch the sound off. I'd much prefer a quiet drone, particularly for use inside the house. To be honest, it is not very loud, but it does make a slight buzzing/hissing sound which can become annoying after the novelty wears off.It is too light to attach anything to it, but it is cool if you have never used a drone before.

Great child's toy and very easy to use, My granddaughter has been playing with this for hours, It states it comes with 3 Batteries and I only got 2 in my box, hence why I only rated it 2 stars due to parts missing.Very easy to fly and very robust when it bumps into thing and the blade guards protect the blades very well. Good flight time per battery but the third one which is missing would be a bonus.

OK, so initially I felt a little disappointed on owning the case. This is a really small drone (micro sized would be more suitable as it's nowhere near as big as a Mini drone).After charging and flying, however, this is actually a fun drone to play with, however it's Purley suitable for indoor use, or outdoors only on the calmest of days.This flies really well indoors and the all round protection is definitely a bonus. I've flown at speed around the living room and it's quite responsive. It flies well and the guards help if you hit a wall, etc. The ropes remain fine and protected.Battery life isn't bad. The batteries are quite tricky to remove to charge though.Overall, it's a fun micro drone. Perhaps a little pricey for what it is, plus there's no camera. I don't tend to use cameras on micro drones, but it's a little deceptive that it looks like it has a cam when it clearly doesn't.I do like this though and can recommend it. It's good for indoor flights, practice, etc.
