Bouw een USB Type-C hostcomputer poort om naar drie 10Gbps poorten (3x USB Type-A en 1x USB Type-C met DP Alt Mode video-output), plus laptop voeding en opladen met Power Delivery 3.0 tot 100W
USB-C DP Alt Mode Video Output
De downstream USB-C poort van deze USB-hub ondersteunt zowel 10Gbps datatransfer als USB-C DP Alt Mode, met ondersteuning voor resoluties tot 4K 60Hz. Hiermee kunnen gebruikers een USB data randapparaat of een draagbare of desktop USB-C scherm aansluiten. De USB-C poort levert 12W (5V/2.4A) stroom om draagbare USB-C monitors te ondersteunen en om andere USB-randapparaten van stroom te voorzien en op te laden. Deze integratie is bijzonder geschikt voor een betere productiviteit in professionele omgevingen en voor het leveren van video- of USB 10Gbps-prestaties, afhankelijk van de behoeften van de gebruiker.
USB Power Delivery Pass-Through
Deze USB-hub is met USB Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through (tot 100 W) uitgerust. Sluit een voedingsbron aan op de PD pass-through poort om de host, de hub en een extern scherm van stroom te voorzien en tegelijkertijd om USB-randapparatuurpoorten met full charging mogelijkheden te voorzien. PD 3.0 beschikt over Fast Role Swap (FRS) om USB-data onderbreking te voorkomen bij het wisselen van voedingsbron (USB-C voedingsadapter naar busvoeding).
Voed de hub met een aangesloten USB-C power adapter of enkel met busvoeding. De hub heeft maximaal 18 W vermogen nodig. Dit vermogen wordt dynamisch verdeeld over de downstream poorten. Voor extra bescherming van deze USB-hub en het aangesloten hostapparaat is de USB-hub voorzien van Overcurrent Protection (OCP). OCP voorkomt dat defecte USB-randapparaten meer stroom gebruiken dan veilig is toegewezen.
Plug and Play
Dit apparaat is compatibel met alle belangrijke besturingssystemen, waaronder Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS en Android. De Hub wordt automatisch gedetecteerd, geconfigureerd en geïnstalleerd na aansluiting op een hostcomputer. Dit zorgt voor een automatische installatie en instellingsconfiguratie bij elke USB-C laptop, inclusief Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 en USB4 computers zoals Apple MacBook (Intel/M1/M2), Lenovo X1 Carbon en Dell XPS. De ingebouwde extra lange USB-C hostkabel van 30 cm zorgt voor een eenvoudige installatie en vermindert connectorbelasting op 2-in-1 apparaten zoals de Surface Pro 7, iPad Pro, HP Elite X2 en laptops op riser stands.

Looking for a compact USB hub to connect your laptop or Samsung DeX capable device? Buy this one!I've tried multiple similar items from name brands, and they work fine as a USB and port hub, but this one is able to support power delivery and display data through a single (capable) USB-c cable. I assume because it is noted to be capable of some combo of USB 3.2, PD 3.0 pass through and DP 1.4 alt mode. I'm not quite sure which one(s) make it possible, but it works for an HP Spectre laptop and Galaxy phone.Only improvement suggestion is to add an additional 10gb capable USB-C port in place of the three USB-A ports, but that's being super picky.Thanks StarTech for building another unique solution for connectivity challenges.

I bought this to pair with my Rog ally and xreal air 2. It just works. I can charge the ally while using the headset and can plug a keyboard also other usb devices in without having to worry about ports. Haven't had a problem so far.

This is a well built product, the connectors are premium quality and the cables are rigid. I have been using this for about 3 weeks with various mini PCs, laptops and the pass-thru video quality to an external monitor is top notch and the speed of detection is impressive. I don’t do gaming therefore I can’t comment on that.

Finding a USB C dock/hub that supports power delivery and DP Alt Mode for USB C monitors is challenging. This is one of those devices. My goal was to use the Lenovo M14T portable monitor with my Samsung phone in DeX mode and still have the ability to plug in a USB super-speed device (keyboard, mouse, etc.) or three. This dock delivered. I hope to forego my laptop and use the portable monitor with my phone, saving a lot of weight.

Pris pour brancher un écran portable en usb c vers le steam deck. Fonctionne bien mais le deck l'adaptateur doit être alimenté en parallèle car le steam deck ne fournis visiblement pas suffisamment de puissance.Au delà de ça fait le job. Pour le prix j'aurais quand même souhaité un port ethernet car on est plutôt sur un tarif haut de gamme
