I bought 2 of these ladders late last summer but did not have a chance to use it until 2 weeks ago. My husband and I are new to paddle boarding so we end up in the water. I am a non swimmer so I have to wear a high level buoyancy life jacket which is very bulky and I also do not have the upper body strength to get myself back on the inflatable SUP if I fall in the water. I’ve googled and tried many suggestions how to get back on a SUP but non have worked. I bought these rope ladders hoping that it would help me get back on the board - IT WORKED! I attached the ladder to the D rings from the tail end of the board and was able to climb back up by grabbing the upper part of the ladder while stepping on the ladder rungs. I am so glad I bought these ladders even though they were not intended for use on a SUP. I highly recommend these rope ladders for anyone using an inflatable SUP who has trouble climbing back on a paddle board.

Now fitted so it can be pulled out of a capsized sailing dinghy - which works well and enables me (aged 84) to get back on board to the amazement of the safety boat crew. The only problem is the same for all rope ladders in that there is nothing to hold the two sides apart so they come in to either side of your foot.I have bought two of them - one each side of the boat.
